Unique home fitout using the sustainable product Eco-Core

Matthew and the team at Finer Living designed and delivered something unique and beautiful for every room in our house. Using an environmentally sustainable product called Eco-Core we commissioned Matthew to build functional yet creative pieces that would make our house a home and he certainly didn’t disappoint. Matthew is a true master craftsman and along with his team of artisans delivered more from this product than we thought possible. Everyone was extremely professional and we had a very positive experience from start to finish. Thank you all so much. You haven’t seen the last of us!

Driftwood Dining Table

This dining table needed to fit into a small space so as it was going to be small we wanted to make it striking. We crossed grain the ends of the table and crossed the legs and added a contrasting center support. With the use of a driftwood stain and white middle support we tied the table in with a wall unit.

This dining table is 1600mm x 750mm.

Dark Chocolate Leather Chair

We were asked to build a chair with comfort and style. A modern sweeping look was perfect for this request and we made it extra comfortable using feather foam and we added an edged velvet back cushion.  The timber was finely sand blasted to achieve a textured look yet with a smooth feel. A matt finish was decided upon to complete the modern look.

Classic yet Modern Bedside Tables

We were asked to make bedside tables with a classic ultra modern look. The drawer blends in with the base, making it look like one unit and the grain flows around all sides of the drawer. The legs are made from solid oak and stained to keep the grain but give it a darker colour. The drawers slide in and out with a slight touch. The bedsides are solid, classic and timeless.

 

Extra Comfy Sofa with Chaise

Built to the owners design to be extra comfortable with the inclusion of the chaise. The chaise comfortably fits two people and with feather inserts in the back cushions this makes for super comfort. The whole sofa is designed for ultimate comfort, also along with the inclusion of feathers there are three different types of foams used to create support, comfort and durability.

The sofa is 3400mm long with a width of 950mm.
