We were contacted by Turul Building to design and build an old fashioned Library and Mantel Piece and make storage with built-in cupboards, all to bring character and a sense of warmth into the home.

We decided on hand made mouldings and fluting, and to work with French Walnut with use a 20% Finish, and brass shelf supports were also included.

We designed the Mantel Piece to compliment the character of design, and to add to the feel of the room.

The client is very happy with the final result and now has a beautiful relaxing sanctuary to read, relax and entertain, all in front of a warming fire.

One of Brisbane’s Leading Interior Designer Companies commissioned us to make furniture for Hayman Island on the Whitsunday Islands.

Consisting of a collection of Four poster beds, stone top dining rooms tables, Lobby seating shaped like Boats, desks and side tables, all made of a mixture of different timbers and finishes.

There was also a large amount of custom upholstery work involved in this project, the Canopy over each four poster bed had to sit just right and flow down each post and each four poster bed had upholstery sides and foot head.

There were also four custom chairs completed in White leather for the foyer area.

It was great project to work on , and all our clients involved are very happy with the end results.

Here are some pieces in progress on the workshop floor.

We were asked to create a unique kitchen with a big WoW factor for this historic homestead.

This kitchen is stunning with Stone benchtops  and wall backings from Granite, along with a soft moulded edge detail that works well with the fluting on the cabinets. The doors are layer moulded, made in three sections.

The timber in the display cabinets is French Walnut, with soft interior lighting installed.

Window bench seat near the wine chiller creates a space to relax and chat while the flavours are simmering.

After many consultations with our client, considering all the needs of the family we built this bespoke kitchen and the client is very happy with the final result.

There are before shots included here also, so you can see the transformation.

The client brief was a image off Collette Dinnigan sitting in front of a Mirror display unit.

The Client said Matthew “I want something like this , but without the mirrors and to fit into this space, and I want to keep the antique table as it is a special piece to me”.

So I designed this bookcase that fits between two brick walls, made from a mix of solid French walnut and veneer.

There as two small doors at each side as well as a mix of adjustable shelves and fixed shelves, the door knobs are also made by hand from French walnut.

Our client is over the moon happy with their new display bookcase, and it looks like it has always been there.

We built this home office from an empty space in the apartment of the Abian Apartments in the city. We made the zen style sliding doors from French Walnut and used fabric inserts to allow air flow. The sliding doors allow a divide between the office space and home space. The owner was very specific about needing filing cabinets and cupboard storage. We used French Walnut and created fun nooks in the centre for display objects.

We worked with Wrightson Stewart Interiors to design the space.

The owner is very happy with how the office space was created and we will be making a desk to complete the space.

Built In Fireplace for Apartment Living

We installed this stunning fireplace. The fireplace is controlled by remote and has built in speakers for sound. It is run by electricity and water and we had to install all of this and needed to remove a wall.

To give the top section a floating look and feel we needed to build a inner support from steal and suspend this from the ceiling,  the steal gives strength to the top section. The apartment is very high up and strong winds can be known to blow in and this added to the brief to make this unit extra sturdy, as it is close to the balcony doors.

We covered the interior columns with 24 carat gold leaf which add a warmth and glow to the living area. When the morning light comes through onto the columns a beautiful golden glow fills the whole living area.

The owner is extremely happy with the level of detail and installation.

We worked with the interior designers Wrightson Stewart Interiors on this project.

We were asked to turn one of the bedroom spaces in the Abian Apartments into a walk-in dressing room. There needed to be a sensational space to display handbags and shoes and it needed to be protected by glass. We decided to add LED lighting to highlight the viewing. We used American Cherry Solid timber and veneer to create all the shelving, doors, sliding draws, jewelry pocket draws, hanging spaces and mirrored sliding doors. We also covered the interior column with 24 carat gold leaf which really adds a glamorous feel to the whole room.

The owner is over the moon with their new dressing space and highly complimented our level of detail.

We worked with the interior designers Wrightson Stewart Interiors on this project.

Solid Oak Coffee Table with 70mm top. This table has an off centre leg design to add a little bit of interest to the look of the table but still keeping it highly practical. The table is very solid, indestructible and yet also small enough not to be intrusive. Made for the second living room to accommodate children, this table will sustain and maintain it’s look of playfulness and fun design keeping the room fresh and inviting.

Our clients both work from home and wanted an office environment that had style and was welcoming for them everyday. The brief was to make it modern but also very simple and practical. We used a Satin Black Laminate for the top and edged and made drawers from Solid Spotted Gum. The leg design was a way to create something interesting and eye catching, two tone legs in the Satin Black Laminate and the Spotted Gum also. The desk allows alot of space and legroom for more than 2 people if required. The legs are definitely a feature of the office. Our clients love their new workspace.
